Spain

Spain's 2023 elections saw Partido Popular (PP) with a large majority of Congress of Deputies Constituencies, but due to multimember districts, they and their coalition ally VOX fell short of a majority (with VOX losing about half of their seats), and few other parties are inclined to support them. This may well lead to another election at the end of this year or start of next if PSOE (the socialsists) are unable to form government

It is most useful to analyze Spain's 2023 election by how much each bloc (left vs right) won different constituencies by. Most weren't particularly close, but we can see that the right bloc performed best in west-central and southeastern Spain, and the left-bloc best in Catalonia and Basque Country. This really highlights the current deadlock in their Congress

Spain's 2019 November election saw the socialists lose some ground, but still carry 32 electoral constituencies. PM Pedo Sánchez had called new elections after PSOE's coalition with Podemos (far left) had fallen through, but given the end result, PSOE and Podemos has to renew their agreement, and keep the more left-leaning parties in said agreement to be able to form a government. VOX, the far-right nationalist party, also managed to carry the constituencies of Murcia and Ceuta
