About Me

My name is Chris Kirkwood, and I am a student in Political Science at the University of Kentucky, and I earned my undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Sociology from Northern Kentucky University. I have been a political cartographer for almost a decade now. I started by using simple websites (like MapChart), and have advanced my skills through using programs such as Dave's Redistricting App (DRA), QGIS, and ArcMap. So far, the majority of my maps have been centered on North Carolina, Ohio, and Kentucky. I recently also became a co-founder of and contributor for Pivot Point Analysis, which focuses on elections news and forecasting
